Mud City supports our clients (usually emerging B2B technology companies with an Enterprise Solution) to set highly qualified meetings with their Ideal Customer Profile with an exceptional Outbound Go-To-Market Strategy. We bring Sales Methodology, Customer Insights, Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement and High Touch BDR Management together to ensure every single BDR is in a position to deliver high-quality, and predictable results that allow our customers to reach their growth milestones.

Job Title: BDR Manager

Mud City is growing and we need a passionate frontline Manager to coach, grow, and inspire our talented team of BDRs. Most importantly, you’ll support Mud City in creating an environment that allows young talent to thrive and genuinely fall in love with Sales as a career path.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage a team of Business Development Representatives who have successfully completed Mud City’s Training Academy.
  • Ensure each BDR reporting to you has an actionable plan to achieve their monthly performance forecast and communicate that forecast to Executive Leadership & Client Stakeholders
  • Execute the following cadence for each BDR you manage on a weekly basis:
    • 1:1
    • Scorecarding
    • Pitch Practice
    • Email Personalization Assessment
  • Ensure the BDR Playbook is being executed in the field by each BDR on your team.
  • Liaise with Mud City Client’s on a weekly basis to provide updates on BDR progress and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for Client Playbook improvement and work closely with Enablement and Customer Insights to ensure they’re added, adopted and live with your team.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations, Customer Insights and Enablement to execute “Performance Plays” that address performance concerns or present an opportunity for playbook

Required Qualifications:

  • Led a team of BDRs before in a management or team lead capacity and are deeply interested in innovating the playbook you know today (and are, probably, pretty interested in challenging some status quo’s that are currently holding you back while you’re at it)
  • Prior experience operating with multiple playbooks simultaneously
  • Proficientcy with the following Outbound technologies: SFDC, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator,,, Vidyard and Sendoso
  • B2B sales experience ideally with a solution +$30,000 in Annual Contract Value with a relatively complex sales cycle
