Mud City supports our clients (usually emerging B2B technology companies with an Enterprise Solution) to set highly qualified meetings with their Ideal Customer Profile with an exceptional Outbound Go-To-Market Strategy. We bring Sales Methodology, Customer Insights, Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement and High Touch BDR Management together to ensure every single BDR is in a position to deliver high-quality, and predictable results that allow our customers to reach their growth milestones.

Job Title: Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative at Mud City, you will prospect for new business by phone and email, qualify leads, and book sales meetings for Nayya. You’ll support us as we help our customers answer the question: “What is maximum Outbound efficiency for my organization?” We are specifically seeking the best and brightest BDRs that are looking to support growth-stage start-ups build their Outbound engines for the first time. As a customer-facing representative of Mud City, you’ll support us in driving exceptional customer outcomes. In fact, you’ll likely set new standards for how our customers should be redefining their customer interactions to maximize alignment and results.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand Mud City’s sales methodology
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and other social media channels to generate interest in our clients’ offerings
  • Identify and qualify prospective businesses that will help emerging tech companies reach their ideal customer profile with impactful problem statements that break down comfortability with the status quo
  • Personalize your outreach to companies to generate leads
  • Achieve monthly meeting forecast commitments for both leading and lagging indicators of success: Metrics of success include...
  • Maintain Call and Email Open Rate Baselines
  • Maintain Call and Email Response Rate Baselines
  • Maintain Call and Email Conversion Rate Baselines
  • Resulting in achievement of a monthly “Meetings Set” target vs. monthly forecast
  • Resulting in achievement of a monthly “Meetings Qualified” target over +80%

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 - 1 year of sales related experience (this role does not require a SaaS or technology background)
  • A willingness to master new and complex technologies (like Outreach.io and Salesforce.com)
  • An ability to conduct a large volume of diligent contact and account research across multiple data sources
  • Ability to tailor messaging via written communication
  • A growth mindset and openness to receive constructive feedback
  • A high degree of attention to detail and ability to prioritize time to meet weekly deadlines
  • Ability to partner with others
  • A demonstrated ability to exceed goals.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
